These terms apply to every order placed through cut2size. Please read them before sending an order — custom-cut goods are made specifically for you.
cut2size is operated by WoodArt Joinery, Unit 4 Park Royal, London NW10 7LW, United Kingdom. You can contact us at contact@woodartjoinery.comor on 020 3343 9040. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean WoodArt Joinery; “you” means the customer placing an order.
We supply boards cut to the sizes you specify, with optional edge banding, from our London workshop. The configurator on this site produces a live estimate of price and a preliminary cutting layout. The layout shown is an estimate only — our workshop optimiser prepares the final cutting plan before production.
Submitting an order through the site is a request, not a completed purchase. A binding contract is formed only when we confirm your order (by email or phone) and payment has been received. We may decline an order — for example where a material is out of stock or a part cannot be safely cut — in which case nothing is charged.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Where a price is displayed, we indicate whether it includes or excludes VAT at the prevailing rate. The total shown at checkout includes VAT. If we discover a pricing error before confirming your order, we will contact you with the corrected price and you may cancel at no cost.
Payment is taken in full before production begins. After you submit an order we confirm the details and arrange payment with you directly. We do not start cutting until payment has cleared.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the dimensions, quantities, materials and edging you enter. We cut to a tolerance of ±0.2 mm against the sizes you provide. We may query an entry that looks unusual, but we are not obliged to do so — please double-check your cutting list before submitting.
Cut-to-size goods are made to your specification. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the usual 14-day cancellation right does not applyto goods made to the consumer’s specification or clearly personalised (regulation 28(1)(b)). This means custom-cut orders cannot be returned or refunded once production has started, except where the goods are faulty or not as described.
You may cancel free of charge at any time before cutting begins — contact us as soon as possible and we will confirm whether production has started.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If goods are faulty, damaged or do not match the confirmed specification, we will re-cut, replace or refund the affected parts.
Orders can be collected from our workshop at Unit 4 Park Royal, London NW10 7LW, or delivered. Delivery is arranged individually after your order is confirmed. See our Delivery & returns page for full details, including how to report transit damage (within 48 hours of receipt).
We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for losses caused by inaccurate specifications you supplied. Our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, you also keep any mandatory protections of the law of the part of the UK where you live.
Last updated: June 2026. We may update these terms from time to time; the version published at the time you place an order applies to that order.
